Italcementi Set Balýkesir Cement Factory is one of the important manufacturing plant with its 1.200.000 tons clinker production which was recently reached by several crucial modifications and investments. The sensetive awareness about Enviromental issues has leaded Balýkesir Cement to retrofit existing GCT gas cooling system within their investment plans.
COOLING CONTROL® has been awarded by a ITALCEMENTI SET Balýkesir - International Cement Group to establish their complete Gas Cooling System in the Gas Cooling Tower in Turkey.
The system has been commisioned right on time as scheduled without any delay. Cold and Hot tests have been performed and the guaranteed GCT outlet temperature was achived.
The system is now at service.
This is the 10th system COOLING CONTROL® established in Turkey.
The overall Italcementi project has taken 120 days from the day of signing contract until the running of the system which includes all heat balance calculations, detailed engineering of complete system, controls, pump station, new generation lances, and those all manufacturing,assembly, installation and supervision works.
