CYCLONECOOL™ : GAS COOLING IN THE TOP CYCLONES
CYCLONECOOL™ gas cooling system technology is the one of the latest inventions to cool the hot gases inside the top cyclones in Cement Plants. The continuous developments in the cement production processes bring an oppurtunity to the endusers to increase production while keeping the sustainable energy consumption at the lower levels.
Depending on the requirement of the pryro process, the CYCLONECOOL™ can be established to help to the present gas cooling system in downcomer ducts, or gas cooling towers.
Gas cooling in thye top cyclones brings the following benefits;
*The cyclone retention efficiency is improved due to the increased dust concentration per unit gas volume because of cooled gas.
*The dust return ratio is decrased due to improved dust collection efficiency inside the top cyclones
* Higher gas volumes can be processed by ID fan with the same kW due to reduced volumetric gas which will lead production increase, or ID fan can be run at lower rpm’s enabling energy savings while keeping the same production TPD rates.
* It is possible to get rid of ID fan coating or vibration problems for the fans which are working at the limits. Therefore, no more kiln stoppages are issues because of fan coating or vibration problems.
* The users can select the required temperature reduction and set it on the PLC to operate within the calculated delta T value. This gives the flexibility for the system operation.
* The system offers user friendly operation, reliability, close loop control and managing almost all components automatically.
